Welcome to our website on carrying out Quantitative Risk Assessment. We are a group of students doing our Diploma in Chemical Engineering in Singapore Polytechnic. We formed a team so as to work together on our final year project in the academic year of 2014/15 on conducting Quantitative Risk Assessment on a chemical store.
We were able to collate our findings from other sources with a program that we have made using Microsoft Excel with Visual basics for Application (VBA). With this website,we are able to simplify some calculations and guide you step by step on how to make a Quantitative Risk Assessment report.
We believe that risk assessment is of major importance in the chemical industry whereby those involved in this industry are surrounded by countless hazards and it only takes a small turn of events to result in a great disaster. Therefore, by being able to anticipate this turn of events and analyse what the chemical plant/store is lacking, the risk posed by many hazards can be eliminated and thus reduces the chance of workers being at great risk.
